remember the office redo?
yeah, i know. how long ago was THAT project started?
i'm finally getting around to it. in order to do anything i have to deal with all the paperwork, files, and assorted miscellany on the partners desk and the floor. the good thing is that this room has a large closet that has already been fitted out with coated wire shelves that are perfect for office supply storage AND still function as a guest clothes closet! niffy, right? half of it is already organized, but only very loosely so, as in supplies are in their original boxes or in cute containers that make absolutely no sense at all! but i digress...
where does inspector lewis come in?
he and the dishy hathaway (if you know the series, you know who said this and why) are playing on the dvd here in the office. i tried listening to music, but it was disturbing, almost too exciting, no matter what station i put on (thank you, pandora, normally, you are a perfect companion)! there's something about the cadence of their speech and the familiarity of the stories that's comforting when i'm alone. it's certainly making this job a TON easier.
i'll be back.
UPDATE: i have injured my hand and absolutely must stop working!

Wow, Spring clean over there as well? Cool.
ReplyDeleteGood luck honey!
xx
i am under the proverbial gun to get this done, sugar! *sigh* xoxoxo
DeleteOh My Goodness !
ReplyDeleteI like Inspector Lewis and have netflix streamed them when I needed to work in the studio. Hathaway is rather dishy !
Midsommers Murders too, Love the villages, and if you miss something they do a wrap-up at the end so you don't need to really pay that much attention. I keep thinking after all the deaths, I can have my pick of houses and villages to move to, when I move there. hahahahahahahahaha a joking running scenario when the temps hit 100+ and I think how lovely it would be to move to England.
cheers, parsnip
aren't they grand? we bought the dvd's! and to think, it all started with Morse! love MM, too! agin, there's something about the unfamiliar/familiar that is so soothing! our joke around here is NEVER plan on living in oxford or a small english village, too many murders!!! xoxoxo

ReplyDeletenot to worry, sugar! finger is healing and paperwork is slowly getting organized! xoxoxox

DeleteDon't you just hate those band-aids that don't fit the end of a finger? (Martha Stewart would probably cut the end off a glove finger and top that with the end of a rubber glove. And make a fortune!)
ReplyDeletei KNOW! have you ever tried that icky liquid bandage??? i do wish there was a fingertip bandage! xoxoxox
Delete"Mother! Oh God, Mother! Blood! Blood!"

Yet another reason that cleaning up is not a fun past time...said the woman who spent half her vacation in the yard, cleaning up.
ReplyDeletePutting alcohol on it would hurt...maybe alcohol of your choice in you would be better. :)
