He'll be here for Thanksgiving, but will be gone all of December, which means
HE WILL MISS MY BIRTHDAY!
and New Year's Eve.
There's always a party for my birthday and New Year's Eve. But so it goes, as one wise pundit said ages ago. This isn't a milestone birthday, but at this point in life, every birthday you're above ground is reason enough to celebrate! That's probably a good reason to celebrate EVERY DAY!

On a cheerier note, he's spent 90 days in hothumidcoastalafrica thinking of all the meals he wants to cook while he's home, and I am ready for all the feasts to come! I'll try to post some pictures because he is a very good cook!
Hope y'all had a great Halloween! The end of October and the beginning of November set the stage for celebrations to come, and reflection on those who've passed. Día de Los Muertos and All Souls' Day are our days to pay our respects to all those who've gone before us because no one is really gone as long as they are remembered.
