Almost over...
Here we are. It's Wednesday, the 11th of July and into the semi-finals of FIFA WORLD CUP!! Yesterday, France beat Belgium and today we'll see Croatia v. England. Odds seem to be favoring England over Croatia. Saturday, the 14th, will be the playoff for third place. Whoever loses today will meet Belgium on Saturday. The winner today will play France on Sunday for the World Cup trophy. We shall see.
At Wimbledon, Serena Williams has made it to the semi-finals with her next match tomorrow, the 11th of July. Yeah, it's been all sports around here. But I will spare you the Major League Baseball highlights this time.
It's much easier to be aware of politics, but focus on sport these days. I know what I can do and I will do it, but other than that how about them Cubbies? (old baseball joke around here)
