so, sugarplums, we have a 3 day weekend here in the states! i've been to the local farmers market, so i'll be cooking up a storm (let the cliches begin) today and coasting through the rest of the week. but, that's not what this post is about. 

(did you think I would have a straight forward post without ANY digression? ever?)

where was i? 

right, that's it. why this post and not the other? (if you read the post on tuesday, you'll know what i'm talking about. if you didn't, well, go look now. you can finish this one later.)

i'm working on it. yes, at first, i thought, who needs another post about la back in the day? then, i realized, it doesn't matter. i'd like to write it and maybe, all y'all will read it. mr. moose will, i know, because he suggested it.  anyway, there it is, that's what's going on here on the plantation. the weather is HOT, but only a slight chance of rain. we were spared the hatefulness of isaac, but hurricane season isn't over yet.

now, all y'all know i can't miss an opportunity to share a picture of BGM (baby girl matrix to newcomers). so enjoy and i'll be back sooner or later.
