so, we made it through THE DINNER.

i was good and well behaved. ya'll would have been proud. we took a ton of pics which still have to be downloaded, so it may be a day or 2 before they show up here, but they will...as will, the fairy tale or as we've taken to call it: mama's bad day blues and cautionary tale

sorry, i've been so out-of-touch of late. i've read a few blogs, perhaps even commented, but i've yet to respond to your comments here. i apologize. i will try to correct that today!

after a very harrowing week, the MITM & i have finished a project and all we can do is wait for the results. my contribution is nowhere near as great as his, but we share the burdens and the rewards equally, so it's done and we can relax. last night was the first real break...we watched movies! one thriller and then, one comedy...it was good to laugh again.

i am reminded of how good my life is in the grand scheme of life.

i am thankful every day.

i had a long, thoughtful post in mind, in fact, i wrote it out last night (mentally, of course) and now, in the clear light of day, it is gone.
