Sooooo, the party was at a park on Sunday afternoon. There were about 12 kids and 25 adults present! Seems the correct ratio to me for a 6th birthday party! The popular gifts all related to the movie of the moment, Black Panther, and the birthday boy was most pleased!

We sent a really cool microscope (age appropriate, of course) and pre-made slides (Thank goodness for amazon prime!). We watched him open it via FaceTime. He was excited, of course, but it seems Captain Chaos is even more taken with the gift! 

They all had fun and that's what it's all about, right?

A lot has happened here in the USA, but I've chosen not to talk about that today. I rather leave you with a smile and hope for the future.

And our sweet grandbabies, of course!

Today is his 6th birthday!!  Since it's a school day, the party will happen on Saturday, but I hope all y'all will join me in wishing him a happy, happy birthday!
