reality bites

i just realized that i checked out a page on that other social media site because i hadn't seen that person in a few years. i don't know which made me sadder, the time that has elapsed or the fact that that is the only connection now.

reality bites hard.

a dollar waiting on a dime.

BUT, on the upside, we're both feeling a bit better, so that's a good thing.

Don't worry, we are OK and the future is bright.

ack, i'm sick and so is the MITM

cold and flu season traveled from lalaland here to my sweet savannah and then, traveled up to our nation's capital and back  home with the MITM.

it will be a couple of days before our doc can see us,  so quick advice was drink plenty of liquids, get some rest, and eat lightly. (sweet mary sunshine, just the thought of eating makes me ill.) the MITM has decided that my self imposed fast is one, not healthy and two, not smart, so he is cooking simple dishes, but a hellva lot more than i did while he was away.

one thing has happened that is totally out of character for me: i seem to have lost my taste for coffee! who knew, right? MASSIVELY impossible, or so i thought...

aarrgghhhhh.
