before you say anything, he put himself in the corner!!! evidently, when you play a horn into a corner, you get instant feedback on your tone. (whatever)

(ya think if i give him some ruby slippers, he'll fly away?)
I think Ruby slippers will only get him as far as Kansas, Savannah.... or home.. which is full circle back to yours!

ReplyDeleteplaying into a corner is like having a feedback monitor -- sometimes it's hard to hear how you sound otherwise.
ReplyDeleteand he sounds wonderful! my dad played tenor, and i am often mesmerized by that sound...
