i just have to figure out which ones i can post. the wedding was lovely. the sun decided to shine and the wind wasn't too brisk. the speeches were short, the toasts apropos and everyone appeared to enjoy the festivities. pomona college did, once again, represent. family and friends made the trek up the coast and everyone missed the MITM.
captain chaos is happy and celebrating with The Girl in hawaii, so what else can we say, except, congratulations, best wishes and good luck!
and yes, there was a bit of drama, so that makes it officially a wedding!
Sounds like a lovely event - and i suppose wedding drama is a given. All those emotions running full throttle, something's gonna pop!

I love thinking back on the veins in my mom's neck that were pulsing and about to burst from forced smiles and over the top adrenaline coursing through her tiny frame on my wedding day. Not to mention the unmentionables on the www! :D

ReplyDeleteI had a fun time at my daughter's reception and even had an f-bomb thrown my way by a guest that couldn't see straight anymore.
